Back in July of 2010 I presented "Explanation of the Semantic Web in under 5 minutes for the average Josephine/Joe" at Research Club's Brunch #4 in Portland, OR. There were many fine presentations and thus far the community at Research Club has only had time to edit one of the presentations so I've decided to post my slides here. The time limit was 5 minutes so the explanation is short and sweet. I believe these slide can be understood without audio accompaniment but if you have any questions, feel free to post them in the comments.
